Today marks 35 years since the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) came into effect.

Earlier in the week, advocacy groups and institutions from across Massachusetts, including the MBTA, rallied and marched in Downtown Boston to celebrate the milestone, mark the progress thus far, but also raise the alarm amid the looming threats to programs, budgets, and government offices that members of the disability community rely upon.
