#ThrowBackThursday
My randomly pulled #theatre program this week is appropriate seeing it’s 12th night today.

It’s going back to the 1998-99 Manchester Palace Christmas #pantomime, Cinderella.

If memory serves there was a carriage pulled by (Shetland?) ponies.

The billed stars were: Darren Day (Prince Charming), Isla Fisher (Cinderella), Ruth Madoc (Fairy Godmother), Barnaby (Buttons) and Mr Blobby.

Simon Bashford and Mark Two were the ugly sisters.

#ThrowBackThursday Todays randomly selected #theatre program is the #musical Spend Spend Spend.
The plot was inspired by the real life story of a woman who won a large amount of money in the 1960s.
I think I saw this early 2000 at Londons Piccadilly theatre. This is another show I’d forgotten I’d seen until I pulled the program, remember enjoying the show, recall more about the plot then any tunes or choreography but it’s a while ago now!
Got to love #duolingo for the conversational phrases it teaches. Todays one from my Spanish lesson is one I’ll obviously be using a lot 😉

Another randomly picked #theatre program from shows I’ve seen over the years. Some I recall better then others.
Today it’s a #musical, Avenue Q at Londons Nöel Coward Theatre. Adverts would suggest that this was 2007. Think it was the 1st of a 2 show Fri performance.
There’s so many names I here that I recognise and I’ve seen since, though I don’t recall if they all were necessarily performing the eve I saw it - puppets draw the attention so quickly from the performer!
#ThrowBackThursday I have a huge stack of #theatre programs from over the years - some productions I remember vividly some more vaguely.
Pulling one at random and it’s #TerryPrachett’s Guards! Guards! Which I’d forgotten I’d seen until I picked this up. From the adverts inside I saw this in 1998 at a #Staffordshire theatre that no longer exists!
I don’t remember many details but do remember it being an enjoyable evening out.
