Spent way too much time playing with Fusion Art last night. It lets you merge an image or pattern, like a swirl, with a text generated image. It’s pretty cool. I like how the swirl is more obvious the smaller the image is.
Took the Vespera out last night to shoot the Crescent Nebula. The red edges are pretty clear, but I think I should’ve gone for another hour to get more of the center areas. #space #nebula #crescentnebula #stem #geek #vespera
Today is National Pinor Noir Day, National Fajita Day, and National Ice Cream Pie Day, so I asked MidJourney for a dinner consisting of red wine, chicken fajitas, and ice cream pie. From the results, I'd have to say that MidJourney has a sweet tooth, becuase the images are ice cream pie heavy and light on fajitas (I verified that it does know what fajitas look like). Also, is that corn or a candle in the one image? Or maybe a corn candle. #midjourney #ai #aiart #stem #geek
Happy National Rollercoaster Day! When I was working on my physics degree, I thought that it would be cool to design rollercoasters for a living. That didn't happen, but I did ask MidJourney to design the craziest rollercoasters, and it did not disappoint. Some of the tracks split off in opposite directions and some look like Möbius strips.
This is one of the most fun #AI workflows I’ve played with. I am literally doing this with every logo I am associated with. 😀 Here’s my Jenny Geeks Out logo in space, beach, and different material themes.
Happy 4th of July! Enjoy some #MidJourney #AI generated fireworks cake for America's birthday!

I guess I never did an #introduction, so this seems like a good time to do one.

I'm Jenny. I am a huge geek who loves all things #STEM. I have been in #HVAC for 25+ years and have been luck to work at the intersection on data, marketing, and technology the whole time.

My passion is getting girls into stem and showing kids that engineering is everywhere. I'm a #nasa / #jpl Solar System Ambassador. I love technology, photography, AI, AR, rock climbing, my husband, and our 2 black labs.

A different astronomy and space science related image is featured each day, along with a brief explanation.

Y’all, I got my JPL Solar System Ambassador volunteer badge this weekend! 🎉🎉🎉 #nasa #solarsystem #space

Charles Henry Turner was a pioneer in entomology - and he couldn't get a job in higher ed, so he taught high school biology.

"Across his distinguished 33-year career, Turner authored 71 papers and was the first African American to have his research published in the prestigious journal Science."

His simple but elegant experiments in public parks revolutionized understanding of bees.

The son of a formerly enslaved mother, Charles Henry Turner was the first to discover that bees and other insects have the ability to modify their behavior based on experience.
