Me carefully marking some test code with a loud TODO and then deploying it to prod
“No, you’re a copycat”
I guess the algo determined I’m generally interested in Paul Hudsons? @twostraws

I need to get these Zigbee moisture sensors stabilized on my Zigbee mesh, but otherwise I'm happy with the start of my avocado plant monitor. I am not going to let this one die 👀

I'd really like to add a lux sensor, but haven't found a great one. I'll likely move this whole thing to an ESP32 device powered by solar, but I need to find the time to build and properly waterproof one later. #homeassistant

I just ran out in this to rescue my avocado sapling. I’m not losing another one.

(Also, holy shit! ‘Early morning rain’ and apocalypse storm - same thing.)

ChatGPT just mercilessly roasted me when I was using it for some debugging.

The Uuni is back in action for Mother’s Day!

Still working on the stone temp to get the top and bottom cooking differential right in this new guy, but it’s definitely improved.

I love everything about this but that boombox is near the top of the list.

Welp, just went for round 2 with installing the kind of annoyingly huge Zigbee switch in my super crowded 3-gang box with a couple of 3-way switches. It was a big battle to get it in there, and then I find the dimmer doesn't work. I had to put my failing Insteon switch back in. Thus the delicious and festive cider and considerable rumination.

I think I'm going to replace my recessed LEDs with Philips Wiz so I can skip the dimmer. Anyone have experience with those vs Hue? #homeassistant
