Still not sure if I"m holding it wrong or what, but Apple Foundation Models are really not working well for me. And the core thing I'm trying to do is summarize. That's supposed to be one if its things!

I've broken the task down quite a bit and played a lot with instructions and prompts with no consistent luck. Do I know anyone with more experience here?

Project Hail Mary met my super high expectations 👍 👍
"You're thinking about this exactly right", I whisper softly to myself whilst hiding in a cave, away from the machines.

I know for a while there people REALLY hated CloudKit and especially Core Data with CloudKit.

Has it gotten any better?

I've been working on a macOS app to track accomplishments without the weight of a time tracker or TODO list.

It's a quick-entry 'where the hell did the time go today?' tool that uses on-device models to summarize work for standups, EOY reviews, etc.

Would love some TestFlight users. Let me know if you'd be up to help!

They've played it 5 times since I posted this :screaming

I've been watching the Olympics, which means watching a lot of ads for the first time in a while.

If I have to see that obnoxious as hell AI generated vodka commercial again I'm going to completely lose it. Truly hope Rick James raises from the grave and destroys those responsible.

Me carefully marking some test code with a loud TODO and then deploying it to prod
Today marks the end of a ~8 year project where I extremely slowly ran ethernet to all of of my APs. I now have my router and 3 more APs all connected via Ethernet backbone. Some of those were pretty brutal! Trying to decide what to do with this newfound power. Maybe wander around the entire house doom scrolling!
