@stevefaeembra I would like to do something similar to this. Could you tell me where I can find "Distribute Points in Polygon". Is that done in QGIS / a plugin / PostGIS?
@opengisch Lovely work. This user appreciates. Q) Will being notarised solve the Mac local network privacy issue I’ve been having when trying to connect to Postgres on a local network? The hacky workaround of launching QGIS from Terminal has always been ‘irksome’ but not sufficiently ‘bothersome’ to warrant raising an issue.

@stevefaeembra Love this. Thanks for sharing the technique. What is the effect of lawyers, accountants, and coworking offices, which may have multiple client businesses ‘headquartered’ there? Do they appear extra dense?

@ianp5a @jamesderrick @mapu @Sunshine Grand! I didn’t know about Extrude X. That’s a great piece of functionality. Thanks for sharing.
@jamesderrick @mapu @Sunshine Rotate shortcut a great tip. Not intuitive!
@GreenShores Great work! Well done.
@jamesderrick @mapu @Sunshine The ‘B’ for buildings tool is good. A little different to ID. Three clicks rather than four. Long edge corner, other long edge corner, other short edge corner. Done.

Compared to all other social media platforms, Mastodon has very few 1 mintues videos (like you see those on Insta, TikTok, X etc) in my feed or in the trending tab. It has more text based content, followed by images. Very interesting! I guess humans have always liked to read and write. There is no automated alog here just humans talking and boosting what is important to them. This is how social media should be instead of constant push of clickbait videos.
