Senator Lindsey Graham is blocking a bill that would make the Supreme Court more transparent and accountable.

The bill would require the court to create a code of conduct within 180 days and allow the public to file ethics complaints. A panel of lower-court judges would review the complaints. The bill would also require justices to disclose gifts and travel and explain why they recuse themselves from cases.

Even if a clinical trial is not legally required to be prospectively registered because it's a phase 1 trial or a device feasibility study

1. It's still a moral requirement according to the Declaration of Helsinki

2. The results of clinical studies that are not prospectively registered cannot be published in ICMJE journals

3. Failure to do so presents a risk to the integrity of your research

So if Texas were to secede:

- Republicans would lose 40 electoral votes

- Republicans would lose 25 seats in the House and 2 seats in the Senate

- Thereby giving Democrats a lock on the White House and Congress

But sure, y’all go on ahead and secede.

The "border crisis" is not an emergency if you're willing to wait until after the election to fix it.
