#WordPress org added a page remembering community members who are not with us anymore. Beautiful gesture. If you don’t know any of these folks stories, take the time to find out.

Remembers

WordPress Remembers WordPress dedicates this page to the memory of those we’ve lost. They’ve shaped our project and enriched our community. As we remember their passion and commitment to WordPress and open source software, we celebrate their spirit. Forever in our hearts, their legacy endures through every line of code and every user they’ve impacted. […]

As a blind Mastodonian who is made happy by alt text every day, I'd like to request anyone who feels inclined or able, to post and describe insects. I've really enjoyed the occasional alt text describing flying and crawling things.
Clears throat, then says it loudly for those praying in the back of the room.

@jonjennings @curtismchale one of the things I love about T-mobile, affordable global roaming, with data, no need to ever use local SIM cards.

If I ever need a high speed hotspot, I’d buy one or put the sim in an iPad, and if I ever needed a local number I’d buy a disposable burner phone. That said, haven’t needed either in about 8 years.

@arstechnica lol. I pay a housekeeper $1600/year and they clean the entire house, not just lightly vacuum the floors.

Dear non-profits... stop using some random board member's Zoom account. Get your own.

Own your meeting recordings. A single zoom account is only $150, and if you're a 501c3 you can get 50% off (although getting that deal through TechSoup costs $18/year) so really only saving$57/year if you only have one user/account... but still, do it!

If I show up for one more board meeting only to find out that whoever setup the zoom can no longer attend and host the zoom I'm going to loose my mind.

Remember that #WordPress plugin I forked that shows you when your installed plugins were last updated?

Well, now it's got its own WP-CLI command!

And, just like I said last time, feedback, pull requests, and GitHub issues are welcome!
