A local church was used by turkey vultures for their morning gathering but it was demolished last fall. They've had to move to a nearby tennis court fence. They usually face into the wind like this getting ready to ride the thermals off the escarpment.

A very unusual find for these parts (Niagara, Ontario) especially in only the first days of March, albeit a warm one. Scarlet elf cups I believe. And two hours later they were covered with snow.
