Our collaboration with Jan Betka (Motol Hospital, Prague) on the metabolism in the tumor microenvironment was awarded the Czech Minister of Health Prize. I'm proud and thank everyone involved in the project 👏🎉.

Ministr Vlastimil Válek dnes v prostorách Břevnovského kláštera ocenil vědecké osobnosti za mimořádné výsledky dosažené v projektech v oblasti zdravotnického aplikovaného výzkumu a vývoje. V roce 2021 bylo v rámci zdravotnického výzkumu podporovaného Ministerstvem zdravotnictví dokončeno řešení 76

Promising three Q1 publications in three years at Czech grant agency #GACR is said to be not enough, reviewer says.
Really making sense for the quality/quantity ratio in czech science🤷🤦#sarcasm.

Díky aplikovanému projektu Accelerate Masarykovy Univerzity v Brně mohu rozvíjet techniku měření mechanických vlastností buněk. 🤜🧫🤛. Díky, #MUNI👏
K čemu je to dobré? Například k pochopení metastázování nádorů, či k lepšímu cílení léčiv.

I am currently working on a project related to mechano-phenotyping of cells. We expose cells to shear stress 🤜🧫🤛 and measure their deformations using quantitative phase shifts 🔬.
