The surface condition of Brattle St from Sparks west is extremely unsafe for cyclists. Eversource ripped it up and left it a shambles. I know a PBL is planned but what can be done in the interim? It’s safer for me to ride contra up Sparks on my way home.

An Act to Reduce Traffic Fatalities includes roadway safety measures that will protect bicyclists and pedestrians:
4' to pass vulnerable road users, side guards, mirrors, backup cameras etc required on state owned or contracted trucks, a process for cities to reduce speed limits, red rear lights required for cyclists but not a reason to stop/cite them.
Christopher SchmidtI have grown past being concerned about minor fluctuations in MA's wastewater COVID tracking, but the current average between the north and south systems is at a level only previously seen between 2021-12-20 and 2022-01-17. In hindsight, I didn't go into the office at all during that time period.
I don't like it, but I guess that means I need to set myself up to work from home for at least a little while.
