RE: https://ec.social-network.europa.eu/@EUCommission/116249958233178164

The @EUCommission today unveiled its #EUInc proposal. It provides for a European #corporate rulebook with a single, centralized corporate registration (initially as a central interface for national registrations; later on with a centralized EU registration). Its aim is to make it easier for businesses to start, operate and grow across the EU.

The #EUInc will get a European company register after all, according to leaked documents obtained by Euractiv. But it will only be a second step, building on an existing system connecting national registers.

Following the U.S. decision to ease sanctions on Russian oil, Europe will maintain sanctions and continue to move away from Russian fossil fuels.

The same drones that are hitting Kyiv are hitting the states of the Gulf.

Why #GDPR has so little effect on #BigTech. Case 34,276:

"The Luxembourg courts have annulled a €746 million fine leveled against #Amazon by the country’s privacy regulator.

The court said that the data protection authority (#CNPD) failed to properly analyze Amazon’s “degree of fault” relating to certain #privacy breaches.

The court did confirm “the essence of the violations of the GDPR” that were identified by the CNPD, but noted that “these have now been resolved.” 😭

EU energy ministers are meeting in Brussels today to discuss the surge in prices caused by the 🇺🇸🇮🇱 war on Iran. Meloni is trying to use oil price shock to dismantle EU climate policy

EU countries with higher renewables and nuclear have been less impacted by the Iran War. So you might think Europe's right would back off its quest to dismantle EU climate policy. Think again.

Man threatening to leave NATO, and invade member states, demands NATO reciprocity in a war he started. 🤡

The Onion couldn't have done a better job.

Trump on March 6 telling UK and others: "We don't need you. We already won."

Trump on March 14: "Hopefully you come for help."

I'm seeing that everything goes "as planned".

Trump says the US might bomb #Iran ‘s Kharg Island “a few more times just for fun” and calls on other countries, including strategic rival China (!), to secure the Hormuz Strait. Looks like destroying US global leadership is now a deliberate strategy and not just a side effect of chaotic policy. #uspol
