I drive a 3.5l V6 polar-bear-drowner that only takes E5 petrol. I fully support ULEZ, and all measures that make dumb anachronistic vehicles like mine redundant for journeys better served by public transport. (Or a bicycle, or your feet.) London's mass transit infrastructure is in a different class from the rest of the UK. "Oh, but it's more complex than-" NO, NO IT ISN'T. It's a bunch of vile creatures having a tantrum over their entitlement to fuck the planet, and a gov't pandering to them.

This week, I went over to Bluesky and asked people who'd left Mastodon why they left, and lots of people told me. I grabbed the replies and crunched them and wrote up a summary. I think it's really interesting and often kind of wrenching.
