@marioguzman yeah for sure, i think i agree on all that as well, maybe we’ve drifted into things being *too* clean/simple? either reduce the number of actions to like 1 or 2 things, to make it more obvious or yeah make them look like tappable things again, overall threads’ UI is pretty smooth on all 3 platforms, but its definitely still got a toe in that water of snapchat, tiktok, etc where the UX is sometimes like knowing how to order animal fries “off menu” at in-n-out

@marioguzman pretty sure this is a business/product thing, because the algorithmic feed is likely to drive more engagement and (eventually) revenue. Dark pattern for sure, bummer implementation, hopefully eventually (after they’re on more solid footing algorithmically? i guess?), they show both tabs by default and stand behind the algorithm on its own merits for being more interesting to look at.
