Just set up my own #Immich #HomeServer for me and my wife so we can stop paying for Google Photos. Was surprisingly straightforward!

Building My Dream Productivity Device
I'm planning on writing some more about tech on a new site soon: My first series is going to be called "To the forge!" and will be an exploration of different #git forges like #gitlab, @forgejo, or #gittea.
Only one small query: Where do I start? Does anyone know of any good resources for self-hosting a forge an what that entails? Thanks!

@popey Honestly even before I was on Substack I had been on ghost for years and found it a far better platform for writing than WordPress. Still, this is disappointing to see from such a well-known software name.
