I believe I brought up a similar thing years ago when Apple introduced dark mode and the emoji picker icon (a smiley face) gained a second version to retain a “light” face regardless of which mode you were in. Apologists at the time said it was because of the teeth (which are a detail you can omit from this icon, so that’s not a good argument). This isn’t the first time.

But hey, if the argument is that the cursor should be inverted from the normal cursor color, then just make it a glove. Hm?

@Iconfactory Absolutely love the new quicklinks. I’ve got a mute set on Bluesky and Mastodon that is just the wildcard “*”, which means I now have quick links for All Feeds (minus social), social feeds (without mutes applied), and marked items… Immediately one of the best setups for any reading app I’ve had. Thanks as always!

@Iconfactory In Tapestry, things are getting “stuck” while the app loads new content - if I open the detail view of any item while the loading bar is present at the top of the screen, the view remains empty. Also, avatars disappear while the app loads also.

As loading all of my feeds often takes nearly 20 seconds, and refreshing occurs so often, I find that the app just feels slow.

Is this a cache issue? Should I try to dump all of my feeds & reload?

(Should I enter a proper support ticket?)
