Victoria, Australia. Left. Public Good. People first policy. Society not economy. Science. Evidence. WTF is wrong with people? Climate crisis. COVID. Conspiracy theories used to bar people from public office (and many other areas of life). Anti-fascist, anti-neoliberalism.
We can't possibly expect people to embrace & abide by a social contract that leaves them in poverty, excluded and blamed. Until we ensure everyone is supported from the earliest moment there is no real social contract.

Brain destroying virus. The pathology is quite unkind. This virus migrates across the BBB in the weeks and months following clinical recovery. Infects the brain's defensive cells. Little viral cytopathy; subtle damage over time. Good parasites know how to hide.

IMO, this discussion of Chertow's survivor pathology findings beginning at minute 32 has got to be one of the darker conversations in recent history--they knew, and still let it rip.

Does anyone have sources on how long to isolate after getting covid? Not for me, was asked for guidelines for a group. Would be helpful to have degrees of safety--like best, second-best, etc. plans.

I cannot stand that we are all hostage to the insanity of the craziest House Republicans. And I do mean all: their lunacy on the debt ceiling has the potential to inflict imminent worldwide economic damage. #Angry

Just another old, white, male imperialist
The far right are terrorists.
If communists or anarchists were doing this there would be a crackdown & McCarthy era crusade.

Victorian government urged to act as more drag events cancelled in wake of threats from far-right

Advocates say cancellations may embolden anti-LGBTQ+ groups to target other events and state needs stronger anti-vilification laws

If you think you're exhausted by right wing attacks, think about African Americans, trans people, gays, Latinos, Asian people, people of color who experience it every day. They never get a break. They never get the "day off" because they're tired. We can't do it without your help. Stay in the fight for equality.
