Brookings Institution study:
"Conservative podcasters were 11 times as likely as liberal podcasters to share a claim that fact checkers could refute."

To erase this kind of finding, you have to declare "there are no facts, really, just politics." But then there is no journalism, either. Which is exactly where the right wing has gone: disinformation is a myth.
"Mr. Bannon said in an interview that the Brookings report was a 'badge of honor'..."
Seriously though, fedi was *built* by furries, trans and queer folk, disabled neurodivergent people.
This is *the reason* the culture here is what it is. Why CWs are a thing. Why image descriptions are a thing. Why privacy matters here. Why moderation tools not only exist, but are usable — and used.
If you had joined and asked yourself "wow, how come this place is so chill and kinda… nice?" — that's thanks to all the nice people from communities some people call "weird".
So #KeepFediWeird.
You know #ADHD is not what normies think it is (I don’t even know what they think it is tbh).
Executive dysfunction is at its core. Like there is a disconnect between the knowing one ought to do something and the doing of that thing.
It is quite debilitating, and it adds such a heavy additional cognitive load to one’s life. Go easy on your ADHD friends.
