@ratvet was walking outsde a shopping mall kinda zoning out, the person I was with shouted, "RUN" and took off into an alley. After we made it into the alley I heard several loud bangs and a big SUV flew past the alley entrance with a police car behind it.
When we left the alley we saw a traffic sign embeded in the wall where we had been before it all started.

@YKantRachelRead I think that's kind of the point though? A lot of the names are intentionally "off" in different ways to sell the alien-ness.
