I'm a dad, sci-fi fan, gamer, public radio professional, and occasional podcast host / Twitch streamer.

I'm probably talking about games, Trek, creative stuff I'm working on, or my cat.

Watched the first episode of Severence last night. I LOVED IT. I'm not afraid of a slow-burn start if I can tell it's going somewhere - and I am onboard for this cast and this premise.

It also solidified what a huge fan I am of both Adam Scott and Patricia Arquette.

My Google feed recommended this story to me.

It KNOWS me.

Live now on Twitch! Playing the original Mass Effect with my wife.

I'll do the gameplay, she makes all the decisions.

Hey there, I'm itsburnsie - I'm currently streaming Super Mario World Hacks, Sea of Thieves, and other variety games on my "pile of shame". Often, I stream with my wife, msburnsie. I game, she makes the story choices and handles chat - chaos ensues.

It looks like I might be able to press the ol' "Go Live" button on Twitch tonight.

8:30p / 9p Central - my wife and I will be playing "Mass Effect" together on stream. I'll be doing the Gameplay, she'll be making all of the story decisions.

"Hot Mess Effect: We'll Bang OK? Edition" - join us for the chaos!

Sometimes I make very thoughtful, verbose posts about things I'm passionate about.

Sometimes I make posts like this.

Heh, nice.

Has it really been THIRTY YEARS since Deep Space Nine first showed up on our screens?

TOS and TNG were my first loves, but DS9 will always be the apex of Star Trek for me.

DS9 had the best characters, the most engaging plots, and really pushed Roddenberry's vision without compromising it. It was the Trek series that taught me utopia is possible, but only if we are willing to work for it and safeguard it for everyone.

A beautiful, timeless series - and my all-time favorite bit of Trek.

Successfully moved my #Mastodon instance. New handle, same itsburnsie.

I think I'm going to like it here on tenforward.social
