@ottaross I work at a pizza-software company and Pi Day is statistically a "pizza attracting day" (most customers are in the US).
Seems like more of a US thing, but pizzas are regularly called pies, even outside of Chicago-style ones.
It's also my birthday and I'm going to Pizza Nerds with my family so I'm doing my bit.

-- I am saddened on so many levels by this: seeing peers give up on caring about their work, seeing products get worse and more unreliable.
It's easy to vilify "MBA-types" but I truly don't understand company management who are waiting for the 10x better (or 10x cheaper) dev and not seeing their products becoming objectively worse.
Lots of leaders do care about their companies and are still doing this anyway. Can't be left out? idk.
I guess we'll see what's next.

Ross of OttawaWell that deep freeze kicked in overnight, and yesterday's melty pools of run off are solid little mini skating rinks scattered about the streets and sidewalks today.
Tonight might be the last of the nasty temps? Down to minus 28C, and windchill down to minus 33. It tempers a bit for a still-chilly Monday, but then boom–above zero for the foreseeable days!
And can you believe it? February finally ended!
