This paper circuit project became my all-time favorite for parent-child workshops. It never fails to amaze kids or parents as the result is just fun to use and the build process is easy and straightforward. The idea is quite simple, and you can also repurpose an old PC fan for it. A few years ago, I first used conductive nylon fabric tape for paper circuitry and was amazed to find that it made much more reliable connections than copper tape. Even the adhesive side is 100% conductive. This discovery was a game changer for me and I started experimenting with paper circuit ideas to teach kids about electronics. The first was this Minecraft-inspired paper torch in various designs.
