I find a lot of similarity between the present NDA #central #government and the Communist Jyoti Basu govt in #bengal between 1977 and 2000. Deification. Pushing the poor to the margins. Using Electoral rolls to win rigged elections. Intimidation. Veiled Surveillance. Breakdown of democracy. No reforms. No education. No business. Lots of acolytes in media and business.
