For the 12th year running, the nebulous entity we call MST Club is running a CHRISTMAS MARATHON, with a plethora of video works good, bad and VERY BAD, mostly with a holiday theme but with some extras, from this evening to the end of Dec 25, at: https://cytu.be/r/metafilter_mst3kclub

We do this as a service to people who need a break from the holidays or family, who need background for cooking or other things, or maybe even just *want* to watch. We've been doing this for quite a while and have a large library to choose from. Enjoy, and beware!

Cryptid has been seen again! Twice! Once in the kitchen on the fridge, and once in the hallway on the wall.

.. Cryptid is the giant wild house gecko I cannot catch for love or money. I only ever see it briefly, in the dark.

You know what's really good? The turkey sandwiches they have here at the hospital for the patients. I only have them when I'm starving so it doesn't matter a bit that they're so bland. It seems I'm always here on weekends and the cafeteria is only open weekdays. Cos people don't get hungry weekends.
