And, of course, when people talk about how purportedly safe Poland is, they don't say FOR WHOM. Because for us, it is not. And I won't skip a single occasion to point this out to any cis person. I didn't buy my pepper spray for no reason. I had been physically and verbally assaulted in the "safest country in Europe".

Did I have no good experiences at all? Oh, I did. A few. But does my peak comfort level need to be at a cis person's trough level? Is it "natural" that I should be suffering? Is it "normal" that the public doesn't give a single fuck? That I'm seen as less-than? No, I don't think so. I've been done dirty, that's all. And I've given this country enough, not receiving much in return.
