A couple of years ago, when some little twerp in my daughter’s middle school decided to have fun by carving a swastika into her desk, the response from the school was so mild as to be effectively nothing. If someone uttered the N-word there would be an assembly. We barely got five coherent sentences in an email from the principal.
> Someone decided that it would be fun to threaten our daughter with the corpses of our grandparents.
We wrote this at the time, and it is even more topical today, when people permit themselves to hate and threaten Jews, incite violence by lobbing bullshit accusations of apartheid and genocide, rely on statements made by systemically racist bodies like the UN. They find excuses for their participation in hatred and make no effort to learn or think critically.
Choose to use your voice, now. You don't have to love Israel to stand up for Jews. Be on the right side of history, or choose to be a racist of inaction. Being antiracist is not a passive activity.
