I have 50 email addresses

And I don’t know any of them. Actually my current count is 63 email addresses, and all of them forward to my real email address. Here’s an example:

Looking for feedback on my latest side project (not social/activityPub related):

https://idbloc.co

Use a different email address for every website #privacy #security #email

IdBloc - use a different email address for every website

#ActivityPub support is now available to everyone! πŸŽ‰ 🎊

Write.as blogs don't federate by default, so to enable it you can either sign up with our new page: https://write.as/new/blog/federated, or if you're already on Write.as, go to your blog's Customize page and click "Enable federation"

Note this also includes support for custom domains. So if your domain is hosted with us, you can now choose your handle when you enable federation and your blog will be accessible in the fediverse!

@enron yes - well with some caveats, the service you follow from needs to support displaying that content. I think Mastodon defaults to linking to it if it doesn't support it.
Hi @[email protected] @[email protected] @Aisyk @se7entime sorry for delay, I'm currently "off" (holidays 😎 )
To answer some questions:
- the aim of @peerpx is to be a 500px alternative -> #photography as "art" not as a blogging method like Instagram could be
- @peerpx will implement #activitypub to allow interactions from #fediverse
- it's a side project and as you can imagine there is a lot of work to do, so no ETA for know.
Feel free to contact me or @peerpx for any questions|suggestions 🀟
The idea of a cool glass table is nice, but pls don't actually use one pls be careful pls

@kosinus yes, exactly! apAuth would be like "login with Facebook" except you're trusting an identity provider that's fully FOSS and built around identity for the fediverse rather than for data harvesting.

Kind of agree about the URI point, I include it so there's an option for users running their own instance or coming from an unknown instance to authenticate themselves. I can't see another UX-friendly way to do it though...

@kosinus I think we should build a Mozilla Persona for the #Fediverse, and integrate it into as many #activitypub apps as possible.

Users should still be able to use a different provider. In this screenshot there is a centralized provider "apAuth", but the user can provide a URI to another provider.

The UX for logging in with "apAuth" is SO much better than a username/password or BYO provider, I think we need it even if it brings a small amount of centralization around Identity.

@kosinus So far I'm leaning towards https://gluu.org/ They seem to be not too coporate / trying to upsell services, but also quite full featured with minimal work to get up and running

@kosinus Thanks! I came across this one already, it does look good but looks like WIP still as you mention.
