Webbtjänsten IPv6 i offentlig sektor mäter hur långt organisationerna har kommit med att införa för IPv6 på extern webbplats, e-post och DNS. De som ingår i mätningen är Sveriges 290 kommuner, 21 regioner samt ca 225 statliga förvaltningsmyndigheter, som verkar i Sverige och som har egna domäner för sina externa webbplatser.
