not to HIPAA anyone in the household but we're trying to eat liver-friendly

last night I made a ginger sesame peanut tofu thing that turned out pretty good and wound up being vegan, so I figured I'd share the recipe because that seems like a thing fediverse people do

(sorry for no amounts given, I'm not big on "measuring" or "consistency of experience")

to be clear we love the toddler to bits and he does many things every day that surprise and delight us and also sometimes he runs free and proud with shit smeared all over his legs and you and whatever outfit you're wearing just gotta tank that

my friend today: I've been asked to keynote a conference in Brazil

me: the toddler pulled his poopy diaper off in the middle of the kitchen and trampled through it but the silver lining there is the poop attracted all the kitchen houseflies so I was able to murder a lot of them with the electric racket

So today at Beyblading? The owner of the store comes up to me with a tape measure. He asks if he can measure my wheelchair width because he wants to make sure the space between aisles and the doors at the new location will allow me to fit through comfortably.

And then he showed me the store layout and talked about how proud he was for managing the ramps they needed for proper ADA compliance and asked if there was anything they maybe missed because he knows ADA standards aren't actually perfect for these things.

Needless to say, I felt VERY cared for and if you ever are in Portland, go visit Gambits Games & Anime.

Reposting for pride month #QueerUp

Happy Pride Month. If you know a young person (age 13-26) in the US who is getting their access to queer library books restricted because of local small-minded policies or laws, please refer them to the Books Unbanned program where they can get digital access to banned or restricted books thanks to the cooperation of larger libraries in more open-minded locations.

It's a great program that more people should know about.

On our walk near Cardross we met a 95-year-old lady who invited us to visit her woodland garden. It is an amazing place, a wood full of rhododendrons and azaleas amongst tall trees, paths winding through it with bridges across a little burn, wild flowers, beehives, so many things to discover.

man not to be hbomberguy but just spotted an account whose stuff I have liked before posting jokes they've workshopped out of other people's jokes on a reddit thread as though they were fully original & now I'm having a not easily definable emotion about that
