It's an Internet treasure, and it's under attack from some of the world's worst people. Elon Musk's vicious denunciation of this irreplaceable resource would be shameful for someone who had an ounce of shame.

It implies a compelling argument against great inequity. Namely that great wealth creates a bubble of affordance that insulates the rich from discerning the immediate consequences of incorrect or damaging notions or actions so delaying recognition of errors and the need to alter course.

It was a huge chore trying to find non-extreme Republicans.
Ironically, the biggest beneficiaries of affirmative action in media are Republican commentators. The MSM are desperate to find any who can engage in civil dialogue without fillibustering or collapsing into bigoted rants.
This is why you often see the same Republicans everywhere.

What was doubted years ago was willed into regulation by collective action. Potential of political will is huge, thus it is undermined strategically. Knowing that hopelessness was (and is) brought to us by the merchants of doubt of Big Oil, can immunise and stoke our ambition.
