@bunty Sadly no. It’s been a contentious issue in the UK for a while. I’ve been paying for my medication since I was 18 - so over 20 years of prescription charges.

I’ve been asthmatic since I was 10 and at this point, I don’t remember not having the condition.

£9.35 for a prescription now!! 🙄😫

Managed to get a same day doctors appointment. Feels a bit like I won the lottery 😆

I called 111 and they got me a phone appointment with my GP. She called and we had a chat. Told me I should come to the surgery as really needed to listen to my chest to make sure it was clear (I’m asthmatic).

Waiting for a taxi now as I’ve not really got the energy to walk there and back. And since I’ll have to end up buying medication, I wont be able to afford the taxi back so will have to walk home.
