Dutch living in Malaysia. hobbying as trumpet player and playing (online) ttrpg at #rpgcrossing. Interested in #dasschwarzeauge #faterpg and 13thAge
I just started the #simyala campaign on PbP. In English with four eager roleplayers without knowledge of setting or system. This will be fun! #thedarkeyerpg #ttrpg #dasschwarzeauge #pbp
The first #ttrpg adventure I started using PbP has reached it conclusion after more than two years. Two of the original players, two replacements and a bunch of NPCs that could never have existed if we hadn't invented them together. #faterpg #rpgcrossing
I basically finished putting the next adventure in tiddlywiki. Spent way too much time on that but that's ok. In PbP format it will take my players probably two years to get through.

My forum-based PbP has been ongoing for just over a year now and after all the preliminaries the time has finally come to introduce the twists. #ttrpg #pnpde #dasschwarzeauge #oogdesmeesters #thedarkeyerpg
Last year the German original turned 40, this year it's the turn of the Dutch translation. Good memories (except I think we never got around to 8 (yet?)) #oogdesmeesters #dasschwarzeauge #thedarkeye #thedarkeyerpg #ttrpg

New project started.

A few weeks ago a player surprised me when he had understood much more of the hints I'd been dropping than I had realised.

Now another player finally reveals that he didn't pick up on something that I thought was quite obvious.

A good reminder that we're not mindreaders. You don't know what someone thinks unless they actually tell you.

(this all IT, yeah, OT our communication is good)

That encounter was weird. Only one stress dealt to PCs, but the three spent five fate points between them. #pbp #ttrpg #fate #faterpg #fae
My #pbp game is moving so slow that I found myself planning follow-up adventures nearly from the beginning! #dsa #ttrpg
One of my players in #pbp seems impossible to trigger into action. One-liners, avoiding interaction with NPCs, taking the safest options etc. I notice it's the same in other games he's in and I seem to be giving him what he wants of the game but at times it feels like a drag all the same. Is it a trust issue?
