It is trivial to get the data into endnote or mendeley. Even then, the journal (should?) check(s) format of the reference and existence of the paper. Again, codes such as DOI make this trivially easy.
The AI used for medical diagnostics has nothing at all to do with LLMs but is what we used to call Machine Learning (feature extraction with cnn, classification with random forest or support vector machine etc.) It is serious research and shouldn't be confused with the genAI trainwreck.

I'm totally with you on art. I think it only relatively recently got its special status. What fills our musea used to have a function (decorative, religious or even household.)
On they/them as pronouns: I'm slowly getting used to it. Think of it this way. 'You' was once a plural.
