@drownee Amen. The quake was on the other side of the mountain that's outside my house, but the outcomes couldn't be more different. The images are saddening.

The temblor that struck Cianjur was scary enough in Bogor, where I am. My bookcase was swinging and there was an ungodly rumble in the house. I've been through larger magnitude quakes, but none felt like this. We're safe, no worries, but reports are coming in that several dozen have died.
