Late post, Jan 1 we did a first day hike at Huntsville State Park, and it was lead by my father in law! Good way to start the year and great exercise. Just under 8 miles.

Last Friday I climbed Baldy Mountain with my son and his trek mates. So awesome! What a great adventure we had.

#philmont #backpackingToday I went on a 20 mile (not a typo) hike with my son and part of his Scout troop. We are backpacking Philmont in June and this served as a training hike plus the required 20 mile hike for the hiking merit badge. It was truly a great day.
