@joshbressers in your latest episode about passkeys, I quite liked being trans as one of the horrifying name change situations getting a call-out! I’m in this with apple’s autogenerated passkey. It’s stuck to my old (deleted!) email, with my old name in it, and no way to change.

@mcc I'm curious — regarding the issue of not trusting Bitwarden on some of your machines, is your threat model here something mining the RAM?
Once the vault is locked, we purge the cleartext from memory, and you can set the timeout to immediately, i.e. when you close the vault it locks.
I get that this may still not work, but wanted to make sure you knew!
