If schools were prepared for decades to become shooting galleries and everyone was told to suck it up: then a single shooting on the street has to feel acceptable too; the lack of shock should not be shocking.

The Sphere in Las Vegas is so fucken funny to me because all of this planning and design and money and engineering went into it, but apparently nobody ever asked what they should actually show on it.

@RickiTarr COVID was a great relationship test, if you came out of the shared isolation closer and grateful to have each other for those two years, then you may indeed have found what people mean by having a solemate. We used to think that our much enjoyed extended trips together (2 to 3 weeks of potential friction) was proof of how "simpatico" we were, but those were just pop quizzes compared to the thesis and orals of COVID confinement.

So some of you may know that I started my own business after leaving the formal commercial real estate industry in September of 2022. Today I performed a property inspection for my first client who's an out-of-area owner. He lives in Southern California and owns a building is in northern California.
Celebrating tonight! I took a 100 photos wrote a 3 page report and a 2 page summary of recommendations for things he could do to protect himself as the building owner and his tenant is the building occupier.
