I was born in Houston and lived in it, or just outside of it, for most of my life. 35 years. I’m HORRIFIED— but people need to know:

Houston is NOT doing this. The state of Texas took over the Houston Independent School District some months ago, appointed its own superintendent, and he is the monster doing this shit. The city is against this bullshit.

The state of TEXAS is going after MY CITY. Houston has been winning too many damn elections for the “wrong” candidates and they don’t like it. They’re scared. The bulk of Dem votes come from Houston. Look at the numbers.
