@thinkStory I had already removed most of my books from KDP months ago. I just wanted to make things official. :-)
I left KDP today, what a relief!
@gregpelletier Yep! We are used to frigid cold here. But -20 rarely happens so early in the season. Usually, it's around Christmas, with -40 in January or February. It's going to be a long winter.
@gregpelletier Let's move the Arctic area to southern Canada. It's -20 right now in Winnipeg.
@Robinbonhomme Thank you! That's usually the number of drafts I work on.
Hello @raine_clouds! I tried emailing you back but I received an error message.

I have had a completely unproductive morning so far. Executive Disfunction and burnout are both firing hard this week. (#autism #ADHD issue)

I just wanted to say that I have found scrolling through #mastodon for an hour is an excellent way to get over the issue though.

There are so many incredible artists, writers and creators on here and it is an inspiration to see what you are up to!

Thank you everyone for helping to get inspired and working on something!

Starting work on the sixth draft of this short story. Yay!
LANGUAGE: It’s enslaved persons, not “slaves”. We are people who were ENslaved. When you say “enslaved”, you make clear that someone else did this to us. When you say “slave” you speak the language and mindset of the people who did this to us. This is important. It is not semantics. #history #language #enslavedpeople #Black #Mastodon #words

Digital technology cannot and will never be able to emulate old photographic processes like the daguerreotype, tintype or collodion process. Reminigrams are just a way for me to allow my images to speak a unique language inspired by the one we all know.

The Reminigram - The Haiku Shack - Medium

On morning in 2015, one of my friends told me about a new app that allowed people to make their pictures look like daguerreotypes. When he showed me the images he had created with it, I was floored.
