Today would have been my sister's 37th birthday.
Sadly she passed away in June 2023 from secondary breast cancer.

This is just a grumpy ramble. Nothing will change.
Time to look for a new flat I guess.
Though I'll calm down and email them with a counter offer first. They won't like the email I've penned in my head so far.
All sorts of 1st world problems of course, I know.
But this is an issue in academia that's so easily ignored & silenced.
It's made worse by Oxford being the 2nd most expensive city to live in the UK.
The university is slowly completing a pay review, but it's really too late.
