@pathengart like 20 days - a "I just quit my job break" 🙃. Not the best timing though since it was Golden Week (main annual holiday in Japan) and places were crowded with locals (on top of the many foreign tourists) but the weather was perfect 💯

@pathengart yes - had a great trip! Besides Kyoto/Tokyo this time I went to Kyushu incl. stops at Fukuoka and Kumamoto (inlc. a visit of Mount Aso).

And same here: can't wait to be back again already 😄😅

@pathengart indeed - it does have some appeal and is a nice setting for certain things. Reminds me a bit of Half Life 2 (if you have ever played it).

Thanks for sharing the books!

@pathengart - the combination of weather and architecture/landscape (in some areas) 🏢

Was a silly remark but then I found out that "Soviet Aesthetic" is a thing with key motifs being "Blocky Architecture, Buildings on a lifeless cold area".

Just arrived back in Zurich from Kyoto. Love the "Soviet Union Aesthetic" here... not 👀

The other day I got captured by the spirit of Ultimate 🥏

#Ultimate or #UltimateFrisbee is a fast-paced team sport played with a flying disc.

The unique aspect of the sport is the #SpiritOfTheGame placing the responsibility of #FairPlay solely on the athletes themselves and with that reinforcing mutual respect and trust between opponents; communication and conflict resolution skills; and self confidence – both on and off the field.

You can find Ultimate hubs around the globe - give it a try!

Random check-in: spending some time in #Japan and this week we are in Kyushu area (Fukuoka and Kumamoto) 👀 Next week in Kansai 💯

Just noticed Osaka #Comicon is next next weekend and so I might stop by there too - let's see 🤓

And now I am rooting for Ted Lasso 👨🏻 Great first season! Hope they won't milk this one too much as the second season is already "dropping the ball" a bit...

Silly point/application solutions that will peak in the next years before we'll see the sender and recipient on this great comic being re-educated to take on roles making decisions AI can't comprehend (yet).
