When I was an active #ultimatefrisbee player myself, I was baffled that this sport, that is played without referees, gathered and forged a community of amazing, strong people with a similar understanding of ethics and social values.
Some of them remain close friends till now.

@alecryan Yeah that's very true! I guess I've never been one to care enough about watching any particular sport to get a subscription for it, but I'm definitely glad the UFA exists and makes that model available for people who want it.
@alecryan Oh don't mistake me for a good player! I couldn't possibly play at the pro level. But I do watch their clips on YouTube occasionally, and I've seen seen a couple games live. I kind of prefer watching the club games though, they feel less "sanitized".
