The birdsite feature I miss the most on #Tusky is the language detection and translation. I follow a lot of #Spanish and #German speakers, and I didn't realise how much I used the "Translate tweet" until it wasn't there

It is going to be fascinating to see and be part of a scaling federated social network. Some issues to tackle will be:

1. Scaling the infrastructure - now up to individual service operators

2. Protecting the infrastructure - also up to individual service operators

3. Bot detection, management, and mitigation

4. Identify verification

The Day of Reconciliation is a public holiday in South Africa held annually on 16 December. The holiday came into effect in 1995 after the end of apartheid, with the intention of fostering reconciliation and national unity for the country.
