Calendar that starts on Wednesday? Sure, why not

Leave it to Apple to design popup in a popup in a popup

I'm sorry, what? @grumpy_website

Props to Apple for making a simple “Save As...” dialog so confusing

Left: text field, right: button. Obviously

Do you even remember why we were making websites in the first place?

Thanks ethical_haquer for the picture

Show more options: same 4 options

Thanks @zabolekar for reporting this

How many times does one need to click on a power off icon to power off computer? 4 times, apparently (last one shows one more menu)

Thanks @zabolekar for the picture

So many icons, so little spa...

Thanks @Svenlaa for the picture

Why have hover text when you can't read it anyway?

Stimmt schon ist lustig.

Öffne ein Terminal und gib "shutdown now" ein.
Kannst auch einen kürzeren Alias anlegen.
Es auf einen HotKey legen.... nur Optionen. ;-)

@grumpy_website On the whole I really love the Gnome desktop, but there are a few bits of UX like this that really could use ... something
@grumpy_website GNOME really doesn’t want you to accidentally turn off your computer. (Also, and unless GNOME changed this, after you press the 3rd button, the computer shuts down in 60 seconds. The 4th “power off” button just does it instantly.)
Frankly, I’d say Windows is the worst for putting “sleep”, “shut down”, and “restart” options so small and so close to each other (making misclicks easier) and not giving a chance to cancel.
@grumpy_website, three clicks to shut down a computer is ideal. Most destructive actions should have three. You don't want users to shutdown by mistake.

@grumpy_website Yes, it's freally annoying and more or less pointless to force users to click multiple times just to persuade a GUI to shutdown, restart, or suspend a machine.,

Give users the option to disable all that so the action happens immediately upon clicking *and* to set the duration of any timeout they might want instead.
