It’s Meta… One of the most unethical companies in the entire world, as one of the most unethical companies in the tech industry, run by a guy that’s known to be corrupt and unethical.

@gamingonlinux Still waiting for them to be Steam Deck Verified… The moment they are is the moment I buy a copy.

Right now, it’s too uncertain from update / upgrade to update / upgrade… Sometimes it works flawlessly, other times everything breaks.

@arstechnica Absolutely won’t happen… As a current #Nissan #Leaf owner, I’d be curious to see what would happen if #Tesla did buy Nissan; but it would make very little sense for them to do so.

If Nissan was unable to find a buyer and went out of business, well Tesla is one of many companies that would directly benefit from such a demise; so it would make more sense for Tesla to reject any such proposal outright.

In saying that, this is just wishful thinking by #politicians , anyway.

And yes, I’m an a current #EV owner (though I’m not #rich , so I don’t own a #Tesla ).

@TechCrunch Sadly, this article implies it’s only for embedded CarPlay in new cars (i.e. the version that comes with a car’s built-in head unit); there’s no indication that it will be made available to third-party head units or otherwise made available to exisiting CarPlay head units.

Which is a shame, because CarPlay is buggy as Hell, and long overdue for an upgrade.
