@missanthropic I agree. I loved the whole movie until the ending. The botched sex change scene was funny but also a bit of a red flag in hindsight, but I gave the movie the benefit of the doubt because the music and production was so good and I loved Hedwig so much. I felt very betrayed by the end. But idk what I was expecting given that it was created by a cis auteur.
