@Iconfactory I know it doesn’t get updates, but if anyone ever decides to open up the code for Ollie’s Arcade again, I would love if the snake game wouldn’t randomly place the next pink dot where it literally can’t be continued without ending the game. I can’t ever get a screenshot, but several times a have had the pink appear surrounded by 3 white dots. It always happens when I am nearing a high score and is a real bummer
Fun fact given Tesla’s recent approval of a trillion dollars for Elon Musk. Instead of giving the richest man in the world who already has more money than he could ever spend even more money, they could have split that same money evenly across all of their roughly 125,000 employees and given each of them a life changing $8 million a piece. Or given it back to stock holders, or just made their cars cheaper. There is absolutely no justification for giving that much money to a single person.
💯for this suggestion. The full list of things I use my phone for in landscape: video playback, lanscape photos, some games that are only in landscape. Apsolutely everything else I want locked to portrait all the time

Possible improvements include:
- Give me the option to just turn off auto flowing apps and widgets. The entire process would be 1000% better but just requiring me to make space for something before I move amd then iPadOS just never moving anything automatically.
- let me just drop a thing on the spot I want it amd then prompt with three possible options: put in folder, insert/reflow, or swap.
- give me an option to just completely lock an item so it won’t move
I don’t wish this on people very often, but whoever is in charge of Homescreen management on iPadOS needs to be fired. Everything about it is wrong, frustrating, and unexpected. While attempted reorg my iPad, i have to restart multiple times, and I have seen all of the following many times:
- You can place apps/widgets anywhere, except when it just decides to reflow everything on the screen.
- Removing an app from one screen will somes remove it from all screens
- moving an app will sometimes duplicate the app, except removing one removes both
- sometimes, there seems to be an invisible ghost large widget so you just can’t place apps in some areas for awhile.
- You sometimes have to sneak up on a folder to move something into it so it doesn’t try to auto flow out of the way.
- minor, but the app animation gets super funky once you do too much it.
I swear we have one party that only says "we can't do that" while the other party says nothing but "they can't stop us" and it shows.
You know how the trope in American politics for years was asking if you felt like you could sit and have a beer with someone? I think we have arrived at a point where the question now needs to be, “Would I be willing to have my kids be around them?”. I can tell you that for one ticket that answer would be yes, and the other ticket would be absolutely unthinkable. I would love for my kids to meet Kamala Harris or Tim Walz, but I don’t want them within 100 miles of Donald Trump or JD Vance. #uselection #Politics
As of iOS 18.1, it seems there is no longer a way to just turn off noise control for AirPods Pro. I have always used them mostly in the off setting and only enabled noise control when I really need it because it can give me a headache. The”Off” setting is now completely gone. I hate this decision to fundamentally change a product after purchase without the ability to control it. #Apple #airpods
How is political polling even accomplished in this day and age? I don’t know how anyone could cold contact me and then convince me to provide input short of the presidential candidates themselves showing up at my door. Everything would look like a scam or data phishing. I am not going to even answer an unknown phone call. I would never click a link in an unexpected email. Random person at my door would be assume a salesman and ignored. I would actively avoid a person standing in a public area with a clipboard. Maybe snail mail would work to a verifiable address. Realistically, I don’t think it is possible to ever include me or anyone like me in polling data, ever. #Politics #uselection
@CARROT is just trolling us now, which is honestly kind of its thing. Milton is going to be fun.
