On a planet that is boiling and will cook people alive because we cannot stop burning fossil fuels, the rich are pushing for fascism to prevent the dying people from revolting.

In such a world, with this context, the rich are saying, "All those people posting anonymously—we want to know who they are, where they live."

How can—in such a world—anyone believe that "age verification" or "chat control" is about protecting children? More so, when children are raped by the Epstein class and forced below the poverty line by neoliberals and nobody is ever held accountable.

How can anyone say, "Let's give these neoliberals the benefit of the doubt?"

Mir geht vor allem der Hype auf die Nerven, und dass so ziemlich jede Firma meint, an möglichst vielen Stellen was mit KI in ihre Produkte und Abläufe reinstöpseln zu müssen, egal ob's nötig/sinnvoll/brauchbar ist. Und dass immer noch zu viele glauben, LLMs seien Wesen mit Bewustsein und Intelligenz, nicht einfach die etwas besseren Auto-Complete-Maschinen, die sie nunmal sind.

Sinnvolle Nutzung eines Werkzeugs ist da ganz was anderes.

Stimmt. Aber derzeit trompeten zu oft welche in die Welt, wie mit KI alles wie von selbst gehen wird und niemand mehr was können oder wissen muss, weil die KI das alles übernimmt. Firmen entlassen Tausende Mitarbeiter, um z.B. Support von Chatbots machen zu lassen, und alle Nase lang gibt jemand mit irgendner tollen App an, die er ohne Programmierkenntnisse per KI gebaut hat. Was für sicherheitstechnische Katastrophen da rauskommen, erfährt man natürlich nicht.

Ich sehe hier in D gelegentlich Softdrinks in Dosen aus Frankreich mit aufgeklebtem Etikett, u.a. wegen der Dosenpfand- und Recyclingsymbole, die in Frankreich anders sind.

Ich vermute mal, dass sie einfach die für den deutschen oder den EU-Markt vorgesehene Dose exportiert haben und die Zutatendeklaration nicht dem Schweizer Recht entspricht, und die Dosen nachträglich zu bekleben wird billiger sein, als eine neue Version der Dose mit schweizkompatibler Beschriftung herzustellen. Aber lustig ist es doch...

Right, they want Europe to get frightened and join the rampage. I sure hope European governments don't fall for it.

The man shouldn't forget to mention that Iran wouldn't have fired these missiles if Israel and the US hadn't started this unnecessary war that is contrary to international law and might turn out to be an epic own goal.
