@atpfm @overcastfm some people miss “spatial finder” but I miss “spatial Overcast”, the version of Overcast where you could manually rearrange a playlist (by just dragging the items around) and expect episodes to *remain where you put them*. We haven’t had that since the big rewrite. #OvercastFM #spatialOvercast

@chrishuck @overcastfm nope, using “edit episodes” for me has the same effect as press-and-hold dragging. I rearrange the list but half an hour later my changes get reverted, sometimes even while I’m watching the list. #spatialOvercast
@chrishuck @Siff @overcastfm if the “edit episodes” menu item really works that might explain how Marco isn’t finding it *incredibly annoying* to use playlists ever since the update!
@chrishuck @overcastfm I had no idea there WAS an “edit episodes” option - I’ve only ever rearranged episodes with the long-press and dragging around which absolutely DOES NOT WORK since the rewrite - you rearrange the list onscreen, it LOOKS like it’s been rearranged but the list then randomly rearranges itself. Plus when you’re playing an episode you’ve moved and the episode finishes it often doesn’t jump to the next episode in the list, it just stops.
