Somewhat optimistic.

@JoshuaHolland they rebooted not just one, but all 435 of the fleet. Unfortunately the built in consensus protocol makes no guarantees of bounded time.

This is quite an opening letter from @AkivaMCohen to Elon telling him to pay up the severance he owes employees. https://twitter.com/AkivaMCohen/status/1598487532764798983

“So here's the thing. You can only violate people's legal rights and your own word so far before they lawyer up and come after you. I really do hope Musk changes his mind and does the right thing - the employees deserve that. But it'll be fun as hell if he doesn't.”

Update! #RIPtwitter drops out of the top 30 trending topics, and no longer shows up in the app.
How did I miss this: "Post Prod," which is apparently another social media I've never heard of, is The Number One trending topic on #Twitter at the time of that screen shot, with only 1.5k tweets! 😂

@stux This has got to be one of the most well timed updates in internet history. Too bad it went so smoothly, nobody will remember!
@rudepundit was it the supply that killed it, or the demand? or the unreasonably stupid demand?
Laying off 90% of your staff and locking them out of your offices a few days before the World cup when you need all-hands to keep the whole thing tipping up is .. a choice

One thing that's getting a little lost in this mix, is that some of the people desperately holding on at Twitter are because they are trapped by either healthcare or visas.

That there are systemic traps that trap workers in America so they feel unable to move freely to new employers who want them and would have better pay or conditions is *nuts* and deserves a lot more attention than it gets.
